In collaboration with the Programa de Recursos Biológicos Colectivos (PRBC) of CONABIO and the Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas (CONANP) it's been proposed the creation of the Collective Brand CHAKAY: Lobster from the Banco Chinchorro and Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserves - Quintana Roo, as a comercial strategy with intellectual property rights of the fishing cooperatives, with the aims of responsible management and conservation of the wild population of caribbean spined lobster Panulirus argus.
