Egresada de la Facultad de Ciencias exactas de la UNAM. Ha colaborado en el diseño de actividades interactivas de enseñanza de ciencia y tecnología, impartiendo talleres de Educación ambiental para educación básica y comunidades rurales, verdificación de espacios urbanos y en investigaciones principalmente en ambientes áridos y de arrecife. Actualmente labora en el departamento de Actualización y capacitación del Programa Universitario de Medio Ambiente en la UNAM.
